Magnificent Tarzan Diorama

If I was a kid and saw this collection of toys, I would have wet my pantaloons. Look at the condition of this set which must have been produced around the turn of the century for a very wealthy client. This is gorgeous stuff. I have to find out more about this. This just takes me back. If I had this and my childhood boat that my grandfather made me, I would have played Tarzan everyday as a kid.

That is stunning! Please keep us informed about what more you can find out about this incredible set.

And what young child doesn't want a toy cot with a baby ape skeleton in it, next to two human corpses?

Toys were so much more fun 'back in the day'.

I'm tempted to write a piece on my blog about this as well. There's a lifetime of play in this set!

My childhood friend Alfie and I used to play Tarzan every day and all we had was a rope tied to a tree branch in his backyard. You don't need toys, just imagination!

You are not a boy Debra. You don't understand how much boys love sets like this. Go ahead and post about this Tim. Maybe together we can learn something about this set. It's one of a kind, isn't it?

Different sort of games ;-) You don't need toys to play Tarzan, and we all swung on ropes, yodelled and chased down imaginary lions, but a set like this opens up whole new mental arenas :)

Well, it's true. Boys are indeed mysterious creatures.

And we have trunks like elephants...well some of us. What does that even MEAN??
